Providing comprehensive orthopaedic care for adults and adolescents

Tenet Florida Physician Services offers comprehensive orthopedic care for adults and adolescents that ranges from routine treatment of sports injuries to minimally invasive surgery and from rehabilitation to highly advanced procedures such as hip replacement, knee replacement, and robotic surgery. Our advanced treatment options and advanced pain management techniques may result in less time in the OR, a faster recovery and a shorter length of stay.

Patients typically receive referral to an Orthopaedic Surgeon through their primary care physician for treatment of musculoskeletal problems—most commonly broken bones. Some insurance providers allow the patient to self refer in cases of chronic issues like knee or shoulder pain. Our orthopaedic surgeons also see many patients for arthritis treatment and management, and for carpal tunnel or rotator cuff injuries. In addition, they routinely perform arthroscopies—a minimally invasive procedure that explores hip, shoulder, or knee damage. Minor joint problems can be corrected during an arthroscopy, but more serious conditions may require further surgery. If you experience any musculoskeletal problems, please contact your primary care physician as soon as possible. We would be happy to work with you and your physician to determine a care plan that fits your needs. Our experienced, board-certified orthopedic surgeons are committed to providing you with high quality care, and to helping your primary care physician find a solution to your orthopaedic challenges.

“Dr. Padden reviewed the MRI with me, explained the diagnosis, and the recommendation of a partial knee arthroplasty. He explained how the Mako Robotic-assisted surgery would be done and that I could once again be pain-free. And I am happy to say, that just a short five weeks after surgery, I am back to work and pain-free!”

“Dr. Hersch’s quick scheduling was critical to my care because there is a time frame that you need to repair the bicep tendon.”

“Dr. Piza performed a total shoulder replacement and repaired my left ankle. The procedures helped to stabilize and heal my trauma injuries. Dr. Piza mended my broken bones.”
